Birch Bark Rings (Cut and Raw) 1/2"

These birch bark rings have been cut but have not been prepped for use. To prep them for use, they white papery layers on top would need to be removed and the bottom would need to be sanded Each item is enough rings to stack 1/2" high, which will be somewhere between four and ten rings. The bottom (dark part) needs to be sanded and the top white papery layer needs to be removed before they are ready to use. Please keep in mind that sanding and removing of layers will reduce the thickness of the finished product slightly. These rings are more dense than cork rings and will require more sanding or wood working tools to turn the finished grip. They will need a finish of tung oil to bring out the brilliance of the bark.

These birch bark rings are cut when they are ordered. The amount in stock is the amount that we have the raw materials to produce.
