Batson and Alps joined forces to create two new traditional wood fly seats with classic hardware styling in shiny gunsmoke finish and five wood inserts to choose from. The RA5DLSCK is a down-locking fly seat which have become popular for counterbalancing modern euro nymph fly rods. These new Alps fly seats will definitely add a stroke of refinement to your #2-8 weight builds. The hardware is made with 6061-T6 Aluminum

RA5DLMTR-SG: This trim ring and lower hood (with pass-through for rod blank) allow for the use of a fighting butt with the Alps down-locking fly reel seat model: RA5DLSKC-SG. This has become a very popular configuration, especially when down-locking seats are used on longer euro nymph rods.
